Introducing the Situational Awareness Beacon (SAB), a portable GPS tracking device with on-board wireless communications. The continuing development of this custom device, and the embedded software that drives it has consumed the better part of my work-life for the past 18 months. These "product" photos show the evolution of the case design from the initial rugged vehicle-mount version, to the sleek man-worn variant.
