This is a Sylvania "SilverStar" headlight from my truck that recently burned out. I thought the intricate details and glass bulb had photographic potential and decided to take a few shots before discarding it. Since the high beam filament was still intact I wired its contacts to a 12VDC 300mA power suppy to give the photos just a touch of life.
