Siko decided she wanted some adventure one day and managed to 'escape' from the screened enclosure. And when I say escape, I mean she walked right through an open door. And when I say open door, I mean some idiot (that would be me) left one of the doors ajar while doing yardwork. ANYWAY... she got out. Whistling and calling for her proved futile. She was enjoying her freedom and wasn't to return until she had her fill. Several hours had passed when she finally comes sauntering into the house with this HUGE frog dangling from her mouth. Covered in sand and grass, she was also wearing a grin from ear to ear. She was obviously quite proud of her catch. After congratulating her on her prowess, I grabbed my camera to commemorate the moment. Unfortunately Siko was convinced that this guy wanted to *play* and thus continued to catch and re-catch him at every opportunity. Fearing an excitable kitty might accidentally injure the poor fellow, I only managed a few quick shots before I had to let him go out back. As far as I could tell, he was unharmed physically (but perhaps a bit emotionally).
